The creator of this impressive piece of landscape art really wanted to grab the attention of the heavens, but pilots and astronauts were not his true goal. Pedro Martin and his four children planted and raised a forest in the shape of a guitar for his wife and mother, Graciella, who died in 1977 at the age of 25. Graciella ran the household and helped her husband work in the fields. One day, as she flew across the pampas in an airplane, the outline of another farm caught her attention. The buildings and landings on it were located in such a way that when viewed from above, they resembled a huge milk can. Since then, Graciella had the idea to design her own farm in the form of a guitar, her favorite musical instrument.

However, during her lifetime, her dream was not given to come true. She and Pedro were too busy with other work in the field, and in 1977, Graciella, while pregnant, died of a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.
Two years later, Pedro Ureta decided to fulfill his wife's dream. He measured a regular guitar and calculated the proportions. Children helped to plant trees and mark the territory. Cypresses were used for the contours and holes in the body, blue eucalyptus represented the strings.

Pedro is now 70 years old. Fear of heights prevents him from flying an airplane to fully see the result of more than thirty years of effort. However, he receives photographs from planes and satellites and rave reviews from pilots and operators.
