The double vision tattoos made by the Mexican artist Yatzil Elizalde, are so peculiar that you probably narrow your eyes believing that something is wrong with your vision . However, the "blurred effect" is the pinch of originality that distinguishes the works of this tattoo artist from the rest.
As a general rule, in the artistic environment developing and polishing your own style requires a lot of experience, confidence and time. So it is a little surprising that the person in charge of these double vision tattoos is only 25 years old. Even more surprising is the fact that he started out working as a visual artist. Until he gave his profession a twist and opened his own tattoo studio six years ago in Hermosillo, Sonora.
The blurry effect that Yatzil Elizalde applies to his freehand tattoos can be seen in all kinds of designs: Disney characters, historical sculptures and original designs. He has been working on this style for so long that he probably became immune to the vertigo effect produced by the overlap of these images and the double vision effect.
"I like to imagine that people can experience that blurred vision sensation when they look at my tattoos," the artist noted in an interview for Insider . "I feel good that people can experience this through my art."
